yfz450 jet # when u remove lid and baffle

We certainly do. what is your altitude?
Take out the needle jet and move it from clip #4 (stock) to clip #6 --down towards the pointy end more by two clips.
file off 1/8 inch of the big fat end of the needle so you can get it mback in the screw holder .
if you are at sea level jet to 165
if you are 1000-2000 feet jet to 162
and if you are at 5000 feet jet to 160
this make the motor run sweet and really puts out about 5 more HP
very simple.

(Question)
If you don't file off the head of the needle it will not fit back after moving the clip ring?
Can you get a difftent needle for the 450?
Also the jet sizes are they Mikuni or Dynojet
looking at the mikuni/dyno chart
Mikuni 160 = 170.7 Dyno
162.5 =173.3
165 = 176
-------------------------------------------------
Dyno 160 = 150 Mikuni
162.7 = 152.5
165 = N/A
165.3 = 155
I don't meant to be rude or anything I just would like to get it right the first time.
Thanks

Took the baffle out and removed a/b lid today. Did the 165 main and #6 position on the needle. Man, it runs sweet and the added power is huge. Has anyone else thats runnings these settings adjusted the mixture screw, if so how many turns out, I left mine where is was stock, seems to be right on though. thanks
