bud's right, getting a helmet is a small price to pay. spend 150 and get a good helmet and you could save yourself 10x that in hospital bills.

 

just make sure whatever you get is snell and not just DOT approved. the Snell testing process is much more stringent.

 

I found some helmets on an online store that were closed-out at 59.99. They are DOT and Snell 2000 certified. They have a removable lining and changeable visors. What do you guys think.

 

You might ask yourself if you really need a visor when riding in the dirt.

I personaly wear my old street bike helmet out there once in a while, but all the times i ***** that helmet, was when it was 20 degrees outside.

You gonna ride in the dirt in Texas, yo might not want no stinking visor....

Sounds like a street bike helmet anyway.

 

Fulmer makes a great helmet, just like BadNBlueRacer said. they look awesome.

 

My dealer has helmets (Yamaha and others) for cheap well i think so good DOT helmets good looking i know the site i think it's www.buckspowersports.com not sure and also when your out there in the sun all day and it's about 80-90-120 out u almost want a visor....!
