Cheap Helmets
#22
I just bought a pair of HJC CS-X2. Bout 70 bux apiece
I honestly don't see how a cheap helmet is anyworse then an expensive one, as long as they are both DOT and Snell approved, what difference does it make
I have never worn helmets, the ONLY reason I am buying one is so I can ride in the Spillway (and I have a Raptor now). Never needed one for a utility bike

A good quality, light weight helmet is worth every penny - especially if you ever need it to save your pumpkin ! The HJC seems to be a good buy. Remember that fitment is VERY important with respect to effectiveness. If it's loose on your head it can encourage more injury. When trying on a helmet, hold the helmet with your hands while trying to turn your head. Your head shouldnt "swim" in the helmet. The helmet should make your cheeks snug up a bit as well.
