My wolv needs a refresh badly. Now, I have just found out about the stroker kit from Mickey Dunlap. Now Im thinking about cooling issues. Does anyone know if there are bigger oil coolers available for the wolv? And are there aftermarket add on fans i could use with a bigger cooler? And does anyone know if stroking these engines hurts reliability any? thanks

 

Mickey Dunlap has a bigger oil cooler for it for $115. It is said to be a reliable kit. Call Mickey and talk to him about it. He can build you a monster.

 

Spd, I think it was you that turned me onto Mickey. If so, once again thanks. I see you have stroked yours. Is yours the Dunlap kit? I am definitly going to call him. If i can swing the gs im gonna go that route. Im ordering a shop manual for the wolv today.

 

Yeah mine is the one of the ones you are thinking of. There are three choice he has to choose from: 366cc, 435cc, and 446cc. My engine isnt all together because i havent had alot of time to work on it, but i should have have it together really soon. A friend of mine has a 500cc Four Stroke Tech Wolverine and he loves it. He said its actually 508cc and great reliability. What do you mean if you can swing the gs??? Yeah the manual helped me alot when disassembling my engine.

 

Spddemon, I think when he says gs he means cash. How much did you spend on your setup from FST?
