oh yah a blaster will be the 250. your first mods should be new tires not sure why you need nerfs right away unless your mxing but thats up to you. after i would look into a new pipe, air filter and rejet. i like my toomeys and you can't go wrong with them.

If you are 6'1", then you are TOO tall for a Blaster and might even feel cramped on a Z250. My buddies Kid was 6' and had a Blaster, he could hardly see over his knees. You are also right, there is not enough ground clearance on the Blaster for the type of terrain you listed. You might want to think about a 300EX or maybe even a Warrior. You will need to scape up a little more $$$$.

If you absolutely don't want a Manual Clutch quad, you might consider a Lakota Sport. They aren't Rocket Ships, but there is a decent after market parts supply out there, and several members of this Forum have done some pretty cool stuff to the Lakota. Even the ATV Connection Home page did a big 3 or 4 part series on hoping the Lakota up.

Good Luck.

The KFX and the Z 400 are the EXACT same quad, just depends on whether you like Green or Yellow/White. The KFX is manufactured by Suzuki for Kawi. As far as how I like it, I love it. It is light, nibble, and for a 400 it scoots. You are about the right size for one. A lot depends on your experience. It is a Great Sport Quad for someone with some experiance, but should be treated with respect by someone that might not have as much experience.

Just take it slow, don't try to rotate the earth, and you should do fine.

Good Luck with your choice.

you are way to big for both these quads. and buy the way the blaster wins in each category u listed. it is much more modifyable and the 2 stroke engine just screams all of that 250.
