2004 blaster vs. Suzuki Z250
As usual, the water is getting all muddied up by the same people stomping right through the facts.
It takes MORE than a strong motor to make a successful Sport Quad. It takes a suspension that wasn't developed when Regan was President. It takes Tires that weren't left over from the 3 Wheeler era.
The fact is that there is only one article out so far that has compared these 2 quads to each other and the Z250 ran faster lap times than the Blaster, with riders of varying skill levels, from beginners to pro's. It also got the thumbs up over the rest of the quads in the comparison (Including the Blaster), by 7 of 10 test riders.
Whether you like the results or not, they are the results none the less.
The Blaster is a great little quad, and once modified, for a smaller rider, it is a scream to ride, but the FACTS are, that with the exception of some cosmetic and a MUCH Needed Brake upgrade, it is still an outdated quad. Put that spunky little motor into an updated chassis and you would have a WINNER.
