660 engine in an LRD frame...
Would a Raptor engine EVER fit into a Lonestar/Roll Design frame made for a 426/450 engine? How many things would need to be fabricated if it was possible? Would an engine that size even fit into the frame's structure? I think it would be really cool to have a raptor's 660 engine in a 250R based frame w/ 250R plastics... long travel A-arms and suspension.. MXed out to the max... Maybe sumthin to look into for the future... good way to get my career started...

northern Orange County is a TOTALLY different world than Chapel Hill, lol, it goes from like... sushi bars, tofu, and green peace... to tractors, pitchforks, and farms in like 10 miles, lol. Its a great county. I can ride quads in Northern Orange Co. where i live... then go get a tattoo and party in Chapel Hill.
Oh, and the deeper i get into this thing, the more its lookin like it can be done, but i wanna know what you guys think...

You could probably reuse most of the honda type stuff. Just use whatever brake lines they use for that frame
Make room for a battery and the oil tank but I bet the honda 250r style radiator will work fine with the fan put in the front. Engine mounts arent bad at all. I would worry about that oil tank

BadNBlueRacer, I live about 35 minutes from Raleigh. You can take capital boluvard going towards Wake Forest which turns into US 1 straight to an off ramp called Gillburg RD. I dont no the number of the exit right off the top of my head; i'll look when I go home in the morning. After you get off on the exit I'm about 2 miles away. There are a lot of trails down my way and if you are interested maybe you could come to the local track sometime. Slim
