Default has anyone spay painted the frame?

today i did my whole frame in crome, and my engine, my pipe, mufler, rims, airbox, and suspention. so its really cromes out. but im wondering if the crome on the engine will melt off, and on the pipe. one of my friends did this to his pipe only with black and it stayed on but i dont know if it was heat resistant.

is the pipe stainless steel? if it is stainless the chrome wont stick on it well, you should buff it and it wont go away.

hes not talking about actual chrome... i think hes talkin about some good ole "country chrome" from a can... i dont think it should melt off, but you should worry about scratches and chips.

I painted my blaster frame with chrylon spray paint... and heres how i did it and its never chipped...
First hang the piece up using wire attached to a place that can be easily touched up
1)Sand blast [or use sand paper] the piece
2)put a coat of primer on, let dry
3)sand the primer
4)repeat 2&3
5)apply a coat of paint, let dry
6)sand the paint
7)repeat 5&6 two more times
8)Apply a coat of clear coat, let dry

If you did it that way, great... but im tellin ya, one coat of spray paint will NOT cut it.
