Hey guys,
Gotta questions I’m going to be traveling out to OR for a week or two to visit friends and I would like to visit the dunes out there trouble is I can’t take my quad with on this trip. I know in MN you can go up north in the winter and rent a sleds for a day I was wondering if there is anything like that for quads out there? Kind of a mild curiosity I’ve never riddin in sand before and figured if they do rent out there may be worth it to get to go mess around in something other then dirt like I’m use to. Dumb question but I figured what the heck may as well ask.

Hey, why don't you ship it by rail to florence oregon, and pick it up there, it would be worth it for some of the best dunes you ever saw. The quads you can rent are polaris 250's with governors and you will barely make it through the valleys and you will be stuck half the time.
It would be torture not being able to climb those beutiful dunes.
Then ship it back.
Especially if you are going to be there for WEEKS!
Wow, I would like to be there for weeks.
Stop by your local bike dealer to arrange shipping he knows how to do it, or call a moving company. Movind companies sometimes are half loaded and can take an extra few hundred pounds sometimes.
Another option is have your friend buy a new YFZ450 and you can ride his old one while you are there. Then he can sell his old one when you are gone.

Yes sandman and daddogrider are right. The quads you can rent out there suck, they bury themselves when you get them gas and weigh 2 tons trying to get them out (great entertainment for on sport quads to watch them). If I were you Id just rent one and park on top of comp hill and watch everyone race.

Thanks for the replys guy.
That's what I kinda guessed the quads suck bad. guess they wouldn't rent raptors or quads like that, way too many dumb people would get hurt bad.
Well Guess I'll have to keep thinkin.
Thanks again guys.

Blackraptor,
Where are you going to be? You can actually rent some decent quads in Medford oregon, they have some 400EX's and others you can rent here and take over there.
If you are gonna be here during July 31-Aug 3 come by winchester bay and check out the dunefest action.
