I have an 02 Raptor with UPP intake manifolds. When I installed them I thought nothing about matching them up to get the best airflow. I don't really want to have to take them off again, but if there really is that much of a performance gain I guess I will. What are your guys' thoughts on this? TIA

Is you head ported?

 

I dont think there will be enough gain to warrant taking them off just for that. If you are gonna get go all out and get full porting it would be more benificial.

its still worth looking at while they are out for something else. I have seen some poor fitting stock intakes like they were squished from the top.

 

No, my head is not ported, and I do not plan on having it ported for a while, so I will just wait and do it then. Thanks for the replys!

 

i wouldnt port match them unless you are looking for every last bit of horsepower to be gained. it really isnt worth the time and effort for such a little gain.
