Default Pressure washing?

I use a pressure too. It really gets the mud off. I did notice the last couple of times, that when I'm done and start it up it stalls when I give it a little throttle. It will sit and idle but stalls with just a little throttle. I have to let it idle for a while before I can get on it and go. I know something is getting wet but what is it? Anyone else have this problem?

I use a pressue washer and i havnt had a problem. Im always careful around my engine/air intake, electrical, and around my grease fittings. Im not sure if you could get water in the grease fittings but im guessing i can so i dont chance it.

Well, I spray off the mud, dirt, and weeds with a garden hose. Then I take a rag and wash anything I can touch. Takes about 1 to 2 hours to do a through job. But, the plus is you have had your hand on 90 percent + of your quad. If anything is going on, you should find it. For example I found the breather line off of my front differential once. I'd of never seen it otherwise.

my dad has a high power pressure washer even with a heater, the only thing it does is mess up ur decals, i suggest using a less powerful powerwasher, so far the raptor decals on the rear fenders are off and the big ones on the sides are starting to peel

Power washers have been around for at least 30 years, you'd think people would know what they are capable of by now.

Vampirerider, that is a good way to clean your ATV, i use my hands, pressure washers when used carelessly can rip through your gaskets and seal in your engines (not good!), maybe use the lowest setting, i feel hand washing it with warm water does a good job and everything is clean.

Yes to that.

I remember years ago before pressure washers were so popular that my dealer suggested for long term life of quad do not use pressure in the areas he pointed out.

I still buy fun stuff from this dealer
