ford is the number 1 selling truck in the nation... and by far the best and most reliable ...not by opinion but by fact...i have a 2003 black f-250 4x4...what a powerful machine

 

I just have an extended cab four wheel drive s-10. I think all the big companies have at least a couple of good trucks in their lineups. I really would like to have a new Nissan Frontier four door but my quad has left me with no savings. I love the new dodge hemi's, my cousin got one and that thing will haul some tail for a big truck. I don't know how anyone can seriously beleive a lighting isn't that fast stock. Low 13's put it according to Motor Trend magazine in the top ten fastest vehicles in the world. This was with vipers,vettes, lotus, ferrari, camaro, mustang, all of them so if that's not impressive I don't know what is. For me though I ain't got no use for a sporty truck but if you're rich or single it would be cool to have one.

 

Are you sure about the torque split on the EVO? I thought they were just like a DSM which is a near 50/50 split. My wife's Talon actually turns the rear tires more than the front when you launch at 17 psi. When the front diff went out, it destroyed the rear tires just like a normal RWD car!

 

unless those things get some serious power when the get broken in......they aren't impressive at all........if it doesn't get any quicker than that I think my chevy will hang with it.......

WOW! That would be pretty cool to see! I have about the same thing as your current truck, but I doubt it would even break into the 16s! lol

 

White I have to let you in on something. My Ford has a flowmaster exhuast and k+n filter. When I say stock it means no internals. I think its only worth about 5-8 horsepower but it does sound good. I do have a reprogrammer but I havent installed it yet. Hopefully I can break the 15's with it. My best freinds 5.4 liter extended cab ford went 15.96 @84mph. No tail gate and the dumbo ears(mirrors turned in). The day we dragged the trucks we must have mad 25 passes down the track against each other.

 

Heading to the dunes in my buddies 94 chev(u know "like a rock" ) well 50 miles in FU** there goes the tranny lol and it was "truely" "like a rock" sitting on the side of the road ahahha.. HaD to get my dodge to pull the chevy home then come back pick up the trailer and get it the rest of the way to the dunes [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
