I feel out trucked I just drive my lil 98 Ford Ranger 4x4 4.0L manual. Gots Highway gears 3.5's with 32" Toyo M-55 Bullet proof Tires. 2grand rolls me down the highway at 70mph. But A snail could out accelerate me. 145k miles not a mechanical problem yet. nock nock... headlight switch wore out and idle air controle valve went TU on me. never left me stranded though.. All things equal A ford powerstroke Is a way better towing machine than a dodge. We have a 10% grade commin up to the ranch and with 4 horses in the goosneck thats 20k lbs with the ford and 19 with the dodge. and the Powerstroke out pulls the cummins by far. fords are just all around the best built as far as cabs and doors and paint. Chevys the doors fall off. and rattle after 10k miles, Dodges are made outta tinfoil or somthing the dent way to easy. The cummins motor definatly outlast a powerstroke. Brother has 99 f350 supercab 4x4 powerstroke, Uncle 96 F-350 crewcab 4x4 powerstroke, cousin 2002 Dodge 2500HD 4x4 Cummins, Buddy 200 F-250 Crew cab Shorty Platinum edition 4x4 powerstroke, other brother 2003 F-150 King Ranch supercab 4x4(Nice friggin truck) other buddy 99.5' F350 Crew Powerstroke 4x4 and on an on. The Fords just all around the best truck. Ohh i forgot my other uncle has some fancy chevy and IT RATTLES AND DOORS FALLIN OFF lol Ohh we all ride Team Blue Yamaha! except a couple misfitts like a 400 ex and a sportsman 500 and a kawasaki ZX11

um.. lol Hook the same load up to the trucks.. then see who wins lol My buddies tundra barely beats me but he cant even stay up with me if we are towing loads..

Thats right Load all the trucks to 20,000lbs Combined weight and run em up a 10% grade and see who wins. I'll place my money on the F-350 (actually F650 Supercrewzer with a CAT the only real motor)

My father-in-law has a Dodge Cummins. I love the Cummins and believe it is the best desiel. I have a few issues with it being in a Dodge though. I actually considered buying one before I bought my new truck a couple of months ago. You can't get the 5-speed automatic with the Cummins, it's only a 4-speed which means higher rpm's on the highway. They don't offer a crew-cab, it's a quad cab with a small back seat...too small. Resale is horrible, just ask a friend of mine who traded in after 2-years and took a bath on a mint truck. But hey, to each his own. Personally I would drive Ford, Dodge, or Chevy / GMC but my overall preferences keep taking me back to Ford.

I think the new F150 fords are awesome.
I almost went with one last winter when i was shopping for a truck.
But the GMC has better millage and i drive a lot so every little bit helps when pump prices keep going up.

but how can u complain about high rpms on a diesel.. lol hell they redline at 3200 rpms.. i can cruize 90 with a 2,000 lb trailer and 7 quads on it at about 2200 rpms.. and its awesome.. also at the same time getting 15 mpg

My buddy Used to bash the hell outta fords always sayin they was junk and all that he drove a dodge with a cummins and a 5spd. guess what he drives now? F350 crewcab powerstroke. he has a family to think about ya know. Id drive anything if it was givin to me. My next truck will have a Cat in it. Whether i make a comuter outta a Kenworth tractor or like an F-650 I havent decided. if your not worried about runnin down the highway at 125,000 lbs you can change the gears in it to increase the economy. and hell you can get a used tractor for cheaper than a pickup. whats with that? 425hp 1600ft/lb of torque. now thats what i talkin about i spank all the lil trucks.
