Well, if you want to get into that...i own a bmw, an 02 powerstroke, a mazda, 4 250r's, a banshee, a z400, a raptor, xr50, ttr125, cr125, and im sure im missing some other stuff. So brand loyalty isnt my forte

You're gonna laugh at this one. The tranny I am referring to is the one behind the new 6.0 Powerstroke. You stated you have an 02 7.3. Different package. Not even close to what I thought we were talking about.

I can't pretend to say one way or another. All of the trucks I build are late models. I get my hands on everything new that comes right from the dealer show room. Your truck could have a Briggs & Stratton tranny in it for all I know. Not gonna argue either way on that. I do know that the 6.0 Powerstrokes are mated to a Torqueshift tranny which is not built by Allison.
