The Duramax only has one major downfall. It's made in Japan by ISUZU. So much for Chevy Thunder. They can't even make their own diesal. Oh wait, they did. I believe it was the 6.5 turbodiesal. Otherwise known as the biggest oil leaking, underpowered turd engine ever made. At least Ford(International Harvester) and Dodge(Cummins) kept their trucks American.

I drive an 89 F250 4x4. Its been an outstanding truck for me. Have done lots of Wheel'in with it, and a fair amount of hard work with it, as well as hauling a 10' camper. Its never left me stranded anywhere, or failed to start. I bought it new, and like enough still today, that I'm not looking to get another one anytime soon. But if I did it would be a Ford!

Always had Ford hot rods, my last few trucks (all bought new) went 91 Toyota 4x4 (we had 2 suzukis), 97 F150 4x4 (2 Suzuki's & 1 Honda), 99 F150 4x4 Supercharged (1 Suzuki, 1 Honda, 2 Yamahas) and now 03 Duramax crewcab w/all the stuff (1 Suzuki 3 Yamahas). Draw all the correlation you'd like.

In case you didn't know, which obviously you didn't, Chevrolet (General Motors) owns Isuzu, and Saturn and Saab....etc.... So you could say that Chevy does make the Duramax.
How do I know you ask??? I am a stock holder. I research before I buy.
