dang, these yfz's must be a mean machine. I'm kinda basing my desision on which one would win a short straight drag that top speeds may not be achieved. THanx guys

 

Interesting, I will have to tell my neighbor that because he has one of the sweetest straight line banshees: extreme fast

YFZ might be the new king and my neighbor might need a new quad to be king of the area but I still enjoy hearing that banshee coming down the road.

FYZ450 VS. BANSHEE Thanksgiving Day Glamis Ca…..you everyone that owns a FYZ will be there & so will the banshee’s. bring the video cams…

 

At the drags last week the YFZ was dominating agaist all pimped out banshees, raptors and predators and the yfz was bone stock. It may have not got them in top end but it wreacked them iin the rest of the race. Once they get some aftermarket parts fot the yfz it will def. dominate

Well the YFZ might be the new king of 4-Strokes but I doubt it can contend with a fully modded shee built to the hill....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Well I have a YFZ baffle out and jetted it feels like it needs a 6 speed tranny for top end speed. That is because it is meant for the MX track so there’s lots of power in every gear.
As for flat drag against a Shee I would have to see it. For my answer.

 

It was only a 300 foot drag im sure if it was longer the bashee would catch it

 

This weekend I saw a YFZ dragging at Pismo. He didn't win every race, but he came behind a number of times against a Banshee and Raptor. Very impressive quad.

That’s like saying that size doesn’t matter in a fight. It isn’t the only factor and isn’t the most important one in most fights, but it definitely makes a difference and in some cases is a major factor.

If 2 quads run neck and neck for the full race but one tops out at 72 and the other top out at 75, then in that race top speed makes the entire difference.

 

CAnt beat a Shee in top speed, but who cares about top speed? Dragging up boxcar at coos bay oregon the YFZ spanks shees every race as long as there is a compitent rider. I took my YFZ out for the first day, first ride, hasnt even been broken in and i was walking away from my dads piped predator and keeping up with piped banshees.
