I am running 173/175 on LRD dyno jet for LRD pipe and it really move.
Sound like you need to bump up the main jets. Other ? is did you ever call the place and ask them of the jetting issue? That what I would do.

I have a 686 on methnol I run at LS OK. I have the graydon pipe the CT pipe is the same I run a supertrap end cap with 21 disc on. Just for testing I tried taking it off I found kid on a banshee and we were side by side from start to finish we ran several times just to be sure we had a good test with the trap off I lost 4 quad lenghs on him . I lost all of my bottom end power plenty of high end but no bottom. It could be that your pipe dos'nt give you enough back pressure in the pipe. If there is any way to try a supertrap on it say with 15 to 20 disc it will give you more bottom end. When we ran a dyno test we started with 23 disc ran it then took off 7 and ran it on the dyno again we lost 3hp to much back pressure we built back adding 1 disc every time end up with 21 disc on it we gained 4hp over are orginal run with 23 disc so I can tell you that the back pressure on the hoped up raptors is very important. Ill bet if you get some back pressure back in the pipe it will run alot better hope this helps.

 

Hey stockrappy I don't want to start alot of ****, but I have never seen a stock raptor beat a ds650. Maybe the rider of the ds sucked so he got beat. Just my.02

 

StockRappy has an 01 Raptor. Which has the quicker gear set. So he probably has never lost to a stock DS. My 01 never lost to one either. Or any stock 02-03 Raptor's either. The 01 trans ratio's were definately quicker, too bad they break. The 02-03 DS650's are a little quicker than the 02-03 Raptor's stock for stock though.

 

What about a gearing change?? If you have lots of low end, go one tooth larger in front.

well i hope you not talking about top end, cuz wen mine was stock with the realtors(which are actually only 21") i raced a guy with full pipe and k&n powerup kit, and he had blackwaters, off the line he got quite abit ahead, about 6-7 lengths, by the end it was only about 3lenghts

 

...yup a stock raptor is NOT faster than a stock DS. A DS will kinda keep up with my R where as a raptor cant touch me[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
