I cut mine but didn't like the radiator, frame, and coil showing, it looked unfinished. I made some cover plates from a set of truck mud flaps that bolt into the stock fender brackets and cover the frame/radiator/coil. I think it looks much cleaner now, check out my pics.

Leave them alone. It looks goofy without them. I have a buddy that cut his off on a Black 02 LE and it really looks weird. When you stand back and look at his quad from the front, it looks like a (black) siamese cat with it's ears pinned back (or cut off). Maybe if you remove the headlights it would look better???

I like cut fenders so I can see where my tires are going in rutted or rocky technical trails.

We ride the river some and fenders are a near must! However, I don't really care for the look of cuts on a raptor. One of our group did it to his red/black and I think it looks horrible. Its a good look for a shee but not a raptor.

Of course you take off the lights! I hate the looks withe the lights on there too, luckily the lights are very easy to put on and take off so I just keep them around incase I ride at night.

UBETRUN: Good idea with the truck mudflaps, don't know if i like the looks but good idea!

If you're into BIG air, I would definately cut em. The front fenders can be like parachutes expecially if there is any wind.

My friend has his Rappy fenders cut..I really didn't like the way it looked, but he mainly drags. If your gonna be dragging you really don't want those fenders holding you back....A couple of my other friends cut the fenders their shee's, front and back...I think those look sweet!
