i think raptors look the best when they have cut fenders and the headlights are gone, but there is one minor setback to not having headlights though [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] .

 

Yeah cut em off!! When you get some mods done to that bad boy and are wide open on a back road them fenders are gonna throw you all over the place. after you cut them get some truck door trim and put some of that on there to cover the edges. I think it looks great check out my pics.

I had never seen a Raptor with the rear fenders cut so I wasn't sure if I would like it. I decided to go ahead and ditch the front and rear fenders. I really like the look and it seemed everyone else did cause I had a group of about 10 people asking me questions as soon as I got out of my truck and started unloading my bike. It was like that all weekend. There was almost always someone checking out my bike. Which kinda made me nervous, didn't want to wake up in the morning and have my bike gone.

 

The truck trim idea I've seen and I think it looks stupid. If you cut them then take a torch to the edge it won't even look like its been cut

 

Fly, did you look at the pics or even read his post? Its not chrome molding on the edges of the fenders, its black plastic coverring part of the radiator/coil. Take a look.

yes i did he's got the chrome door saver molding on the edge of the fenders and it looks tacky

 

I think they look better cut but i would also have another set for when u go trail riding.

 

I just got Trail Tech HID's , now im going to cut teh fenders off.

BlueLeader how did you cut your fenders i think they look good, they dont look like you cut the off where they flare up you did it alil bit after they flare up.

 

They will look nice. Trust with the little lights is gonna look sweet. You just give it like a buff on the edges so it can smooth it out.
