raptor baffle?

you will destroy the baffle when you take it out..........take the bold out of the bottom........grab it with some vise grips...........twist it.........turn it and yank it.........
and a lill wd-40 wouldn't hurt!
IMO it sounds a lot better than stock..........but you will need to rejet!

i took my baffle out.spray some wd-40 or other rust buster around the lip to get it between the pipe and baffle.then work itenough to get it started.vise grips do work.a screw driver and hammer tapping on it all the way around helps also.dont forget the set screw on the underneath side.your bike will have a little difference when you first tap on the throttle.it responds a little faster.the sound isnt too loud but it isnt as crsp as a aftermarket pipe.my $.02

If all you do is take the baffle out you don't have to re-jet, but it depends on how it runs. After you take it out, if it hesitates when you stomp on the throtle you want to re-jet. If you're planning on doing some other mods like changing the air filter wait to re-jet when you are done.

Well I got the baffle out of my machine no problem and it sounded good so I rode it around for an hour. I put the baffle back in later in the night mainly because its still under warrenty and the last thing I want to do is ruin my machine because it was running to lean.
