I apologize, just teasing...anyway, try tightening your lower steering ball joints because they can get loose as well as the steering stem. To test for looseness, while its not running, just wiggle the handle bars back and forth, if there is any play other than the wheels moving, some nuts are loose.

Hey Sierra i wouldnt brag about your kfx too much, those things aren't even that fast. They are just a copy off of the raptor and the 400ex. Kawasaki doesnt even make the motor.

seira i think the warrior are the one of the best quads when it comes 2 durablility..i know the motors r very outdated.....but....still

 

I've raced two warriors in trails, pavement drags and mx track, they do not keep up very well.

 

Jake, thank you for pointing out that the motor in my bike is not a Kawasaki. I'm sure your keen ability to notice that the Z-400 and KFX400 are one in the same has impressed your friends. Keep feeding the same two hamsters running around in your head to realize the 400's are not copies of either the Raptor or 400ex. If you don't they will die and you will continue to make idiotic statements and humilate yourself and your hamsters.

 

By the look of things this forum has been overrun by juvenilistic extroverts trying to prove themselves by putting down others. Seriously guys, try to show at least a little class.

You need to start by checking the simple things. Are all your lugnuts tight? Are your spindle nuts tight? When tight, can you move your wheel around on the spindle (bad bearings)? Ball joints tight? Put the frame up on a stand and try to move things around. Look for any slap in the steering, suspension, etc.

Another thing, How much do you weigh? Do you have your shocks preloaded to your weight? Does it seem that maybe your shocks are going out?
