Yes its true this time. Honda is releasing a 450 to compete with the yamahas new 450!! It is replacing the old 250r, and they are still debating on a price, 6999-7999 so it must be series! no word though on when its coming out!

Late September or October is what I have heard but they wont be avalible for purchase till June 04'

 

There have been rumors of this quad since the raptor came out. Will they put it out or not I don't know but I won't believe it until I see it.

It doesn't matter if/when it comes out. The YZF dirtbike dominates the CRF dirtbike. So I'm sure it'll be the same with the ATV's.

 

I heard from one dealership that they are going to make a 450, but another dealership said they haven't heard anything about it, and as far as they know there will be no new 450.

So it's still up in the air, but these rumors have been flying since the Raptor hit the world full throttle.

 

Whith all due respect to RaptorAz, The Crf450 has won two motocross races this year, and the YZF450 has won none. The Honda dominates in sales as well. We all know that they are both equally good. Both have more potential than any of us will ever need. Its just that there are more Honda guys than any other, plus it dosen't hurt that Ricky rides red. I just think its great. People will debate which is better, when really they are equal. You will see racing liven up, sponsors take over, more jobs in the industry, more aftermarket parts, more fun, more competition, ect.
Or it could be all a bunch of BS and we are just blowing hot air.
