Default Raptor Clutch?

How hard are they to replace? Recently had my tranny rebuilt yes on my 01 by the dealer. It was done under warrenty and they didn't tell me about the clutch until i picked it up. They said it would last the rest of the season but most likely would not make it through next year. So how hard are they to replace? Is it as intense as doing the tranny gears?

Yeah i got the extended warrenty... But the clutch is considered "wear and tear."

Congratulations on getting the extended warranty to cover your tranny after so long ! Was it the yamaha extended warranty or a third party?

I'm facing the same issue as you in replacing the clutch... I'd read on this board about the GYT-R clutch kit and did a search on google for raptor +gyt-r +clutch and found this site: http://www.off-road.com/atv/projects...t-r/hd_clutch/

It has picture walk throughs... It seems fairly straight forward although it seems that if you dont have the appropriate tools for a couple spots you might get really frustrated.

Third party extended warrenty... The dealer said they put the updated shift fork in... So I am hoping I don't have those tranny problems in the future. Nothing like paying a 25.00 deductible for 2200.00 in repairs.
