Default Disconnect A-Arms from Spindles?

I own a Yamaha Warrior and was wondering? How do I disconnect the A-Arms from the spindles? Thank you for your time, John

Loosen the castle nut a couple turns (leave it on to protect the threads) then with a hammer hit the cast looking SPINDLE (where the ball joint plugs in) with a HORIZONTAL (not vertical) swing. Do not hit the top of the ball joint/castle nut - you'll mess it up. Striking the spindle "shocks" the spindle and lets it release the ball joint stud. This keeps ya from tearing the boot with a pickle fork. It may take a couple of good square hits to get it to release. Same method for removing the tie rod ends, etc....

Thanks! I assumed that the bolt was somehow threaded through the a-arm, but now I know. Thank you for taking the time out to answer my question. John
