What is your altitude and what brand of jets did you buy? Need to know those things first before offering advice.

Yeah what he said, but if your only replacing the jets and using stock parts in the rest and your near sealevel. 160/165 mains and about 3 turns out on the idle mix. screws.

No politics between us, both trying to help. I asked what brand of jets because the numbers are different for Dynojet than they are for Mikuni (stock). You can't mix the needles and jets between DJ and Mikuni.

Did you get the DJ needles also? As I said earlier, you can't mix DG jets with the stock (Mikuni) needles. You might be a little lean without the airbox lid running 144/146, you might try 146/148 and check the plug after a full throttle blast. Don't be afraid to try 144/148 either. With the full Yoshi, K&N with no airbox lid, my Raptor ran very strong with 146/148, needles on the 3rd clip (from the top), and the AF screws at 2.5 and 3.

I agree somewhat.....since all carbs are somewhat different from the factory on their calibration, I would recommend backing the A/F screws out 3/4ths of a turn COUNTERCLOCKWISE from their current location.
