warrior mods need help

Default warrior mods need help

im buying a yoshimura power package comes with comp series exhaust jetting outerwear k+n filterand spark arrestor whats the difficulty of this instll and can a novice mechanic do the mods and does it come with any kind of instruction for the jetting cause i have no clue how to do it

For jets go down to the local dealer and buy the next 2 or 3 sizes bigger than what you have in it. Installing the pipe shouldnt be too hard, the jetting isint hard its just tedious. If you call them though they can probably reccomend which jet to run. Start with what they reccomend, run it a while and look at your plug. K&N and outerwears is simple to install.

i'm kindof in the same boat
i just ordered a mbsp full exhaust system, k&n filter and jets.
i'm pretty sure i can install the exhaust and the filter but im not so sure about the jets

yea the kit im buying comes ith everything i just dont kno the first thing about jetting like ratio of air to fuel and stuff like that or even how to change them

Installing the jet isn't very hard, but findind the right jet, needle position, and air mixture is tricky. I would start with the setting that your jet kit instructions suggests and change it from there. Try this link It is for a different carb setup, but it gives very detailed info on tuning your carb and came in very useful for me
