Default Ported head stock engine?

Is there any good gains with just a ported head and stock engine? With full pipe, filter, no lid?

I was wondering the same thing. What about with just Hot Cams Stage 1 and stock piston?

The answer to the question is yes. Very good gains. not super but worth the money. You will rev longer and stronger. You would pick up a few tenths in 300 feet doing it. Craycraft has done a few. One for a guy that was just piped spraying nos. Very nice gain he said. Plus doing it that way if you have the money later on to drop in a piston/cam you already have the head done. If your rappy needs a valve job i would difently port it while it was down. It looks like the longer yamaha makes rappy's the sloppier the heads get.

Wallstreet, with shipping etc its around 420 something. 14mins right now ive decided on a cam and/ or piston. Does CR do clean up jobs like a valve job, im gonna wait till i get some $, to do porting so it can still be fresh. Cant find a reputable machine shop that does ATV's.
