They are all under the Bomb name....

Sea Doo and Ski-Doo and Bombardier ATV's are not individual companies. They are all manufactured by Bombardier and they all bear bombardier logos and badging... It's just like the other company's different machines, except bomb uses catchy names like Skidoo and Sea doo .

Sorry to poop your party...but the engines in the quads are not the same as in the sleds...Not even close...Considering maybe the sleds are 2-strokes...and maybe that the quads are thumpers...

Good engines in bad quads?...lol...so many comedians in this day and age.

Bomb/Rotax engines are made by BMW if that gives you any indication of how good they are!!

Bombardier makes outstanding engines! Very reliable/troublefree. They also make engines for a number of other different manufacturers like Aprilia motorcycles.

yup Rotax is just the name of the motor and it has the same inner workings of any other four stroke. About reliability, I have a Ski-Doo with a Rotax 2 stroke and it sucks for reliability...Fast but not that reliable.

Never had a touble with my old 377F Rotax. Not a lot of umph but it could still pull my safari deluxe 2-up to 110km/h

My cousin has the purple screamer Formula 583 and the only prob he has is if he goes too slow the machine eats up spark plugs ... wicked fast though!!!

They are a very strong and fast motor...but after the motor in my sled broke the crank in two and ruined the two cylinders... I dont have that much faith in them. But that does not say that all Rotax engins are unreliable... it only says I had bad luck.
