people always talk about unreliable two strokes. i would like to see just how well some of these 4 strokes that are making big power, on the level of some of the banshees that are modded are holding up after say four yrs of torture.because im just now rebuilding my shee that makes around 70-75hp its ran flawless for 4yrs.i just dont see 4bangers doing that, they run great for awhile but reliability just goes way down after very many mods. ive just had better luck with a two stroke than a 4.

OK here you go.

I bought my Blaster new last summer. It is now 1 year old and has been modded some. piped etc.

"I HAVE HAD ZERO PROBLEMS WITH THIS 'UNRELIABLE TWO STROKE'."

happy now?

you DO know that you can ask questions and people will answer them without trying to start a flame evry time you come on. It is becoming tiresome.

why would you want to rev a four stroke past 9000 rpm's much less over 10000 rpm's?

My 2-stroke has been a classic for some time now... (16 years old now...)
And its still way better than anything offered on the market today! (Disclaimer: for my riding style/area/usage)

If it weren't for the enviro-**** bastards sticking their nose where it shouldn't be... and the manufacturers with no ballz... they would still be developing and redefining 2-stroke performance!!!!

I can't imagine how much improvement could have been made after looking at todays 4-strokers.... they are way better than years past, but cc vs. cc comparisions show the real truth.

Guess I'll keep on riding my classic.... and I'll hand you yer azz next time I see you at the hill!
