i recently joined these forums and everyone bashes on the raptor....i think it is a good quad for stock...lemme know what u think i wont take it personal

 

they are alright. Most people talk bad about them on this forum because the owners who represent them

I think raptors are good bikes. I just prefer a 2-stroke bike. You know we all like to talk $hit, I think its all in fun, I don’t take anyone serious when they say things about banshee’s. You will read some pretty harsh things about different bikes…just remember everyone has a different ride experience…sometimes raptors win and some time banshees win but always remember HONDA’S NEVER, EVER, WIN>>>LOL…..J/K

 

honda's never win? Funny, havent had a raptor come within 5 bikes of our gas honda.

ya i dont see why people diss the raptor either. I got one and love it. I had been wanting one for a long ime and finally got one and the first trip to the dunes I was in heaven on it. Personally I think its a great all around quad

they slam em cuz theyre jealous. look at their sigs and what they ride. Seems certain guys go out of there way to try and start stuff on this forum, since it is the most popular. If you go to the H*nd* forum you can actually watch them plan their little blood pressure games...I have seen it many times. BUT it's usually only a few people who still let mommy buy their underwear, so just ignore em.
and enjoy what you ride. I certainly do not think about THEM when I am out riding! And they didnt pay for my quad anyway.....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

i don't know too many people who have held the Raptors throttle open and come back and say they don't care for it. There will always be better quads suited for specific forms of riding/racing...but the raptor is a great Jack of all trades.

I'm not real happy about the whole 01 tranny thing...but then again, i've had no problems with mine and i ride track and trail and am going on my second frame just through shear abuse.

My hats off to Bombadier and Yamaha for nutting up and building these machines!
