It might be to late for some of you but here is a way to stop the pc from rebooting till you get the fix. I work in the Internet world. This is what we are getting our customer's to do
There is a way to stop the error from rebooting the computer before the patch is installed. This is NOT a replacement for installing the patch, all customers must still download and install it.
1) Disconnect ethernet cables (for good measure - not required)
2) Go to -> Control Panel // Admin Tools // Services
3) Scroll down to "Remote Procedure Call" and then double click it.
4) Select the "Recovery" tab
5) Set the first two options to "Take No Action"
6) Set the final option to "Restart Service"
7) Reset Fail count should remain set at 0 days
Reboot and the customers should now be able to connect to the internet long enough to download and install the patch from Microsoft.

Microsoft Windows Server™ 2003
Not Affected Software:

I guess microsoft decided they don't even need to list 98 anymore lol, so I guess it's not affected
