Default Banshee Suspension???

Does the suspension on the banshee suck as bad as everyone says it does, or are they just overtalking it? I've ridden almost all of the other sport quads, but have heard many horror stories about the shee's gettin trashed off of 8' jumps.

Default Banshee Suspension???

A buddy of mine has a 99 Banshee and he threw on some Works triple rates. I rode it with the stockers and then after the triple rates. Noticed the handling improvements with the aftermarkets so they are worth it. The stock handling isnt as sucky as you may have heard altough aftermarket boingers certainly help. If you were going to keep a shee for a long time, I would try the zero preload Elkas, more expensive than Works but wont set you back as much as the top of the line shocks.

yeah, the stock shocks suck. there is no real way to sugar coat it. if i was smart, i would have put shocks on it before i went into the motor. but oh well. maybe others will learn from my mistakes.
