Default Opinions on GYTR jet kits

Before I break this thing open and start the pre drinking process of re-jetting for the first time, does anyone have any opinions, good/bad on this kit. I'm not a fan of making mistakes that someone else has already learned from.

I had the Dyno Jet kit and had problems then got the GYTR kit and all is good, Follow the directions that come with it and you should be good to go!

I had the Dyno Jet kit also, it was ok with just an aftermarket filter, but when I piped and went lidless, it gave me problems, switched to GYTR, problem solved, runs awsome.

The only thing with the kit is the inde mix. screw adjustments in the instructions don't seem right to me and would not recommend adjusting them the way they say to.

If you do go woth the GYT-R kit Micheal Andretti PowerSports carries it for $50. This is the lowest price I have seen anywhere. Great customer service too.

sixsixT,

What do you reccomend. The instructions say 3 turns on both, but I think I have read 2.5 and 2.75

I'm pretty sure I am going to go topless.

Maybe they've changed the instuctions but it use to be something like 2.5 L 1.5 R.
If you go topless 2 3/4, a little less L and a little more R

hey man i followed your instr. and its working fine
im smoking nything and evrything right now eexept realy fixed up drag banshees.
but when im just cruising it tends to bog a lil.. especially when goin up i go up on second and after long uphils it boggs alil and i have to down shift quick , i found that to be really dangerous cuz 1st brings up the front and on an up hill you can imagine. its usually about 1/2 trottle and down. i am about to lean teh neddle one groove, is that a good idea? it only does it when i hold the trottle at one postition, and when i rev it up high it clears it up for a lil bit then i have to do it again.
