I think he is reffering to me....He thinks a flatter faced paddle , with more paddle face in the sand, he was reffering to 20 inch paddle [which are usually low profile and flat across] he claimes that it hooks up better in a sand drag...he had some technical reasons.he might rattle them off again.
"I" think that a 22 inch or 23 inch paddle with a more rounded paddle face [bigger roll out] moves a quad through the sand much, much, better...when the paddle is ballooned out for some reason seems to dig better FOR ME WITH A SUBSTANCIAL DIFFERENCE, but that is just my experience with testing my drag banshee and the DSs testing different paddles against same bike on a hill over and over ...all bikes totally different in weght...
WHAT DO SOME OF YOU EXPERIENCED SAND DRAG RACERS THINK ABOUT THESE TWO THEORYS??????????????Thanks
sample, sample, sample, pause it and look at paddles and tell me what you think...http://www.ljsoftware.com/Videos/Dumont.htm
look at race where it says me Larry and fast ds
