I got my blaster running again rode it last night for 3 hours around the yard taking it easy.

this morning my dad went out, didn't let it warm up and ran the hell out of it down the road. Then he said it just stopped. Now it just starts up idles for like 3 seconds, then stops. Then i kick it 5 or 6 more times..same thing...or i'll kick it and it will back fire really loud

What is the problem? Did he screw it up by not letting it warm up or anything?

If it was newly rebuilt, you needed to break it in for at LEAST one tank of gas. If you ran it hard for too long without breaking it in, you probably overheated and ruined your new bore.

well, i got it running. I couldn't get outside to work on it yesterday due to the fact i was asleep for most of it.

I went outside pulled the spark plug. It was totally black, i cleaned it up kicked it once and it started right up!

I guess i should of changed it after it blew up the first time!
