Default Lin Hai 260???

Anyone heard of Linhai 260???
They come with a yamaha motor, (260cc) and I was wondering about buing one, but they are so damn heavy.
They weigh about 618lbs, thats 18lbs more than the Grizz.
Would the engine handle that much???

That is about double the weight a little motor like that should have to pull around, when you add rider, gas, oil, etc, that thing would barely move !!! Unless it is geared super low for power, which means it would be extremely slow. Plus, I have never heard of that brand, I wouldn't consider it, service and parts might be very hard to come by. If you are looking for a mid size quad, try finding something in a more popular brand in that size, like a Honda Recon 250, Suzuki Ozark 250, or the sport versions, the 250ex and Z 250. The main thing is finding a dealer you like that has good parts and service, that isn't too far away. Let us know what's available in your area, maybe we can offer some advice from there.

I've seen a Linhai Big Daddy here locally at Rural King, basically a farm discount store for those who haven't heard of the place. They are huge!!!! I think they were asking like $5,399.00 for it. The one I looked at wasn't even 4x4!!! I think for that much money you could get a pretty nice 4x4 that has a better power to weight ratio. As far as parts, I'm not sure? If its a Yamaha motor, then parts wouldn't be to hard to come by. Somone told me they were made by Polaris, so I'm not to sure who makes them. Anyhow, good luck on your purchase.

Big Scary- LOL!

Norwegian- So in Norway they are more than $5,399.00? OUCH!!! Thats an outragous price over here! Hope you get a good deal on the Suzuki, if not, maybe you should see about getting one shipped from the U.S.A. Don't know if its worth the trouble or if the costs would be more or less, but its worth looking into. Good luck.
