Default YFZ 450 should i?

ok got my wife convinced but not sure yet hehe
should i go against my principles and buy a first year run quad? do you guys think these are bullet proof or will it be like the first year run raptors?
otherwise i have to dump money in a lower rebuild on my quadracer. im so confused!
putting out 6500.00 and then finding out the next year the fix a design flaw is scarry!

From a very reliable source:

First redo: relocate rear brake fluid resi

Other than that, $1,000.00 get's you the same mods I have and a bike that hauls **** and handles/looks great.
