Default Starting problem Warrior

Need some help here.
I'm working on a friends Warrior. It doesn't want to start, it's turning over fine and will stumble sometimes like it's going to start. When it does start it runs fine other than if it idles for 15 seconds it dies. He was having some porblems with the carb. It would cut out when he was just creapping around, and if it idled for 10 or 15 seconds it would die. So he took the carb apart, then it would start but you had to play with it for like 5 min. to get started. So I took the carb apart and found some dirt in the air and idle jet. But that still didn't fix it. Do you guys have any ideas.

Sounds like the same problem I am having, it only does it once in awhile. Did it just start this out of no where? I think my problem is electrical (not getting enough spark), try checking all the connections. I think I have a bad connection at my CDI, but I can't get it to do it again so I gotta wait till it does it again.

check the sparkplug it may b dirty My rappy does that when the plug gets old. if it is just use a fine wire brush to remove the stuff off it and it should be fine. if its not that maybe its somethin to do with his spark. try having him run a colder plug

Well when he took the carb apart did he pull the needle out of the throttle cable if so raise the clip one notch and it should idle a little faster but not o muc and it might not die just a guess
