they have a add in dirtwheels this month, i will be following this pipe i know it has a weight factor but, for the piece of mind to just ride care free, it is worth a long look.

 

if i could find a powerful pipe that is also quiet i would pay a lot for it but so far that has not become a reality, but maybe soon.its hard to believe that someone has not come up with the technology to make a quiet and powerful pipe i am sure it would be very difficult but not impossible.there are limits to how much power you can achieve with limited flow but there has got to be a way to come up with something better than is available now.i am very pleased with the results i get for having a pipe that is legal so for now i will stick with what works.

 

I got another one for the list ... my full CT pipe with 16 discs in it was tested and got 100 db. Keep in mind that it was windy and around vehicles and others riding.I think its really like 98 or so.

 

I was at gorman and got pulled over,they were cool because i was leaving and i asked to test them anyways so i wouid know..the alba was a disk type pipe and wasent that loud.

they had me take it to 32000 rpm and idle it there for 5 sec and that was just a little taste of the throttle,at wide open my pipe screams...I would have liked to hear it at 5,000rpm and got that reading...to me that's the only time it's annoying..

 

does anyone know the specs on a yoshi offroad, its on my raptor? Its pretty darn loud, or maybe i just think it is.

 

Hopefully all these aftermarket pipe manufacturers are seeing whats going on with all the db restrictions and work even harder to make a quieter pipe with all the power of the louder ones...They are gonna have to sooner or later if they want to remain a viable company...
