i want to paint the front hubs on the wariror nad j/w what you guys think would be the best color for it. and what brand of paint to uuse. thnx

 

If you have the extra money.. Get them powder coated. That is what i did on my Rappy. Powder coating is very tough and hard to scratch.

 

I have changed my hub color constantly, I use Krylon Spray Paint, so far i have had them red, aluminum, Dark Silver, And they are currently black, i have no scratching problems and it holds up great and when i wanna change mine i just shoot it with gum cutter and strip the spray paint off and then clean up with wirebrush and reshoot them, I have had many people ask how i did my hubs because they looked so good. I wouldnt waste my money on powdercoating the hubs just pick up some good spray paint and do 2-3 coats and they will look great.....

So Ryan.... Powder coating is "a waste of money"?

Guess I have wasted around a grand or more on my quad. Darn should have just painted it... LOL


All I'm trying to say is that the powder coating is MUCH tougher. I have painted many parts on my quads in the past and the paint WILL chip, scratch, peal... you get the idea. If you have the extra money the Powder coating will last much better.
