im gettin a '02 wolverine soon and wanna know if it is really worth it
to buy insurance.

 

Ask my friend. He wondered the same thing. Talked himself into buying it. He recently totaled his 01 banshee and thanks to the insurance was immediately able to buy a new quad. Is it worth it? Ten times over. Oh, and did I mention that because he was injured in the wreck, his atv insurance covered the doctor bills? Get the insurance. It's worth the peace of mind.

Yes it is. I have theft ins. along with liability. I'm glad I got it. Last year someone stole my daughter's '99 Honda TRX 90. The insurance co. gave me a check for $1800 about 1 month later. I used that money to go toward her Ozark. If I didn't have insurance on it I'd be out of luck. I know its a hassle paying all that money but in the end it might be worth it.

it's easier to swollow a insurance payment than the entire cost again

 

yeah, what everyone else said. seems like i read a statistic once that said about 10-15% of 4wheelers at atv parks are stolen. might be high but they do get stolen a lot. if nothing else comp. insurance will cover fire and theft.

hers's a word of advice...don't file a clam unless u get over 1,000 in docters/damages you'll definatelly lsoe your coverage if u don't go over 1000 but if u wanan switch insurance comps... then go for it

 

Well, we lost over $6000.00 due to theft because we didnt have insurance, we have our bikes insured now, and trust me, you need to get insurance, you never know when the scum of the earth decides to take a look in your garage when your gone.

 

i already got insurance only got me 190$ also i don't tink my quad should get stolen i keep it outside in a half/closed garage thingy with the keys in it!!! and there's alot of ppl around where i store it that drive past so u know what i mena....dontcha

 

what insurance companys do u recommend? I heard Markel is good though it says they dont offer insurance in NJ- and thats where i have just moved to!!!! help!!!!
