Default Running rich in the low rpms

I just switched to the gytr jet kit on my Raptor and I also cut the better part of my air bow off, I put in the 22.5 pilots needles on the 3rd grove and th e160 and 165 mains. I runs great after 1/4 throttle but lower that that it pops and sputters and blows black smoke. I was thinking I have my air screws adjusted wrong or The pilots are to big. What do you think?

Yeah it sounds like a air mixture screw is set to rich. Air mixture screw controls your low end.

Not sure on a raptor, on a warrior turning it out leans it out.

Turning them out richens the mixture.
22.5s are stock pilots, 25s come in the kit. Are you sure which ones you used?
If you followed the GYT-R instuctions they are screwed up as far as setting the mixture screws IMO. You should be around 2 3/4 on both with the 25 pilots.
Make sure your choke plunger isn't sticking.
You did put the spacers and washers on the needles, I hope. That's happened before but I won't mention any names. Just not me.
Your float level may be a bit high also.
