Parking brakes tend to go out of adjustment about every thirty seconds, causing premature wear on the pads, causing premature wear on the wallet. That's why you hear of people removing them, and adding parking brake blockoffs.

Default Brake block off?

On the Banshees it is alot easier to block off the parking brake than it is on a Raptor. (except for the newer ones) For those of us that have a Raptor, or newer Banshee, what is to be done witht he wiring that is left? Eventually I would like to change bars, but I don't know what to do with the rest of the wiring for the rev limiter crap. What did the rest of you do?

Thanks in advance for any and all info.

Some ppl remove parking brake to reduce weight, I think it only saves you about 1lb though. And I think the block off plate makes sure a part of the brake isnt exposed after removing the parking brake.
