here in the wilds of Orygun, we can get concealed weapons permits. I have a 9mm and a shoulder holster for it. And you cant tell I'm an old fart till I take my helmet off. Normally I only carry it during hunting season [ you know the annual drunks with guns jamboree] But if you escaped relatively unharmed you did just fine. But its not over yet. If the guy is a head case he's gonna come up with something wild in court as a defense...act surprised and make just enough noise that you get the judge's attention. thats funny, the reason I got a CWP was because i had jury duty, we sent the guy up, not his first time, and he threatened to kill us all when he got out. SO......the judge kinda put us on the fast track to a permit ....hehe there are nuts everywhere man. and rippled roads too. around here, 4x4s driving too fast stutter bump em. log trucks too fast as well. smaller diameter tires dont tend to stutter bump a road nearly as quickly as full sized rigs do. just my experience..[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

Well im 17 and if someone chased me and started mouthing off to me for doing nothing wrong I would have took off my helmet and cracked him right over the head with it. Thats one of the reasons I like helmets they can protect you in many ways (from a crash or it can also double as a weapon). As my old man always told me " If ya get in a fight fight to win not lose do what ya gotta do to win". Im not a trouble maker or anything I just don't like being pushed around. Now if I was being a tool or something I would just apologize and straighten up. This is just my opinion so if you disagree well thats all I can do !

about that fishing line thing, my neighbor and i live across a paved road from a pine forest thats between two dirt roads so we use a pre-existing trail to go back and forth between the two dirt roads, instead of riding on the paved road. well anyway one day his friend brought over his warrior that looks like its about to fall apart and has a "muffler" that you can hear for about a mile. Needless to say no one was happy to have him and his quad around. Anyway he leaves and all and the next day me and my friend are taking the trail throught the pine growth and all of the sudden my friend is seemingly jerked off his quad by invisible forces, well the guy that owned the land (my second cousin) had put up two pieces of rope and had ejected my friend from his quad. LOL it was funny then but could have been very very bad had we been going as fast as usual. I informed my second cousin that my neighbors friend would never bring his sh!tty piece back over ever and he was cool again. So, if you have a loud pipe you could actually kill some one.

 

ok i got one this was a few years back me and a buddy went up to Wisconson to ride with his family up there not a short drive well one of the places we rode at the trail was marked as a dirt road i didn't have my raptor so i riding his scrambler 400. early that day we say 3 guys on utilty quads haulling *** down the rode well about later we come up on a sign the said slow children at play so we slow down to about 30 35 but we come over this hill and this hillbilly has got our head guy at shotgun put we keep telling him it wasn't us because there was about 10 of us and he even said that it was 3 guys and about that time my buddies uncle said "Oh its proble not even loaded" so the guy fires a shot in the air and said " the next ahole that come fling though here is get the head blow off" he finally lets us go. the next year when we went back we went really slow though that part of the trail and as we went by his 8 year kid was mowing the yard and gave each and every one of us the finger. now that hole family is a bunch of aholes.

 

anyone who threatens me or mine with a gun had better say his prayers, cuz if he doesnt kill me I'll be back.
I almost shot an ahole neighbor a while back cuz he physically restarined the neighbor kid who was riding my raptor down a dirt road. Knucklehead had something black in one hand, so i went blitzing down there in the truck with my .45 on the dash. He started in on me verbally and when he saw the gun he calmed down. I never touched it or even raised my voice. he called the cops of course, and they nearly arrested him for assault! yeah!
it's a private road and it runs behind his house, so he has no say in how it is used. too bad! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
we havent spoken since and I dont miss him. now we have a deputy sheriff living on our street across from him and his wife goes down to the mailboxes every day on a Sportsman, haulin butt![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] it just breaks my heart.....
