There's nothing wrong with Polaris. The only thing they could do better is make it where all their quads weren't so darn HEAVY. If they could make use of all that power they have by taking some of the weight off, the would be doing a lot better for themselves. I mean good grief a Scrambler 500 can't even beat a Warrior when they're both stock. If they weighed the same amound or the Scrammy was a little bit more, it would be able to smoke a Warrior easily and at least keep up with a 400EX. That's my $0.02. Well, as controversial as the original statement was, it does have some truth to it. I was a fan of polaris and was going to buy one of their Quads but watched my friends Polaris Quads fall apart prematurely. Both of the 500 sportmans rear suspensions wore out, the bushing literally disintegrated. The front steering linkage on both 500's was looser than a Nevada Prostitute after about 300 miles. The brakes on both were shot. My other friend has a 700 and has had it it the dealer more than he has had it home. The cooling fan went. The tranny had to be fixed. The rims rusted. And the instument panel got foggy. His 700 has 78 miles on it!!! Another person that I know has a pred and the tranny blew up on him after two months!! I'm sure that Many Polaris owners are very happy with their Quads but I feel that their Quality is not very consistent. I wouldn't bet my 7000 dollars on it.

lol, ya I personally would buy a polaris I like my yamaha and plan to stick with them, but I have no experience with polaris in fact my friend has a sportsman 500 and that thing is a beast and to the best of my knowledge he hasnt had any major problems with it, but his explorer he got he said was a pile those were his words not mine so dont bash me, but after my first atv and 2100 miles later I love my yamaha to death and ride it hard all the time
