Default 5 fast HP for a raptor?

I wouldn't do it, a stock raptor stops making power before you even come near the limiter. You are asking to damage the motor if you remove the limiter, and removing it isn't going to make you gain any HP

Its just a reverse limiter bypass, hint - it only adds 5mph in reverse. To test it in the forward gears you would have to actually hit the forward limiter in 5th gear, not many raptors can even pull 5th up to the limiter. When and if you get going that fast you will find the same speed. You will also lose the reverse light.

You can do the same for free by grounding the green/white striped wire that comes from the CDI down to the reverse sensor at the sprocket or put a "fancy" $20 switch on the wire to ground and make it exactly like this kit.

Check out raptortranny.com for the scoop on the limiter bypass. If you're going to do it you might as well spend 20 cents rather than 20 dollars!!
