Default Minor airbox changes?

I figured a few minor changes is a good start for more performance so i picked up prodesign air intake kit and crankcase breather filter. I also was also advised to re-jet up to 145-150 mains. I am removing the airbox lid for even more flow but i was told the pilot jets don't need replacing, is this right? Can the stock main jet(145) be used for the left carburator and i pick up a 150 jet and put in the right hand side carb? Thanks

Yes you can put the right main in the left carb. You might want to get a 155 main jet also.

I assume you are running stock pipe, correct? If so you can probably get away with stock pilot, put aftermarket pipe on then go up, if it's lean at idle.
