Default Parking brake sensor

I have an 03 blaster and my buddy has an 02 raptor. The problem is that damn parking brake sensor thing. Mine is fine, but his randomly acts up as we are riding and wont let him rev it and it just stalls. Is there anyway to bypass it or disconnect it? Sorry if this is a dumb question and has been asked before, im new. Thanks alot.

Default Parking brake sensor

Well, it becomes a question of where the problem is. If its in the switch itself (on the handlebars), the cable running to the CDI has a plug on it. You can simply unplug the sensor and the parking brake rev limiter will not engage. I believe that is how it is wired. If not, it has to be bridged. I can't remember the configuration. It's one or the other. You might try it.
