I would agree with PolarisDudee, as much as I hate polaris, there are many out there who wouldn't ride anything else. No quad is right for everyone. Try to find a way to test ride both and form your own opinions. That is always a safer bet than relying of the views of others. Not to say these guys don't know what their talking about, just that a first hand opinion always outranks a secondhand one.

the 04 troy lee is a special edition predator with the troy lee graphics on the plastic....looks pretty sweet....
...and to answer BigScary, i click Todays new topics when ever i log on. notice i didnt bash or put down a brand....unlike some anonymous people who *drift* to other forums to put down other peoples rides....i wont point names....for now....but you know who you are....and my post was actually constructive to the original question, unlike yours...

if u get the normal pred...with the money you save. you can mod the pred to compete with the yfz. and you dont have to worry about the front A-arm suspension(no bump steer) slap some elka's on the front. some mods to make the engine breathe a little better. and some other misc. mods to beef up the power. $900 can get you some sweet stuff for the pred.

If I am not mistaken dirtwheels just did a comparison on the yfz, z400, and the pred. yfz came out on top, with the z close behind(mind you the z was modified a lot), pred may have more hp in stock form, but it also has more weight to carry around.
I say ride each and then see for yourself.............
