Default TEC kit on a Yoshi

I’m going to take the Rappy in the deer woods this fall and wanted to know how quiet the TEC kit on the yoshi pipe is? Also how much will it effect the jetting? Should I be ok for a weekend?

I think the smallest end cap is 92 db and the mid size is around 96.
As far as jetting, you should but if you don't run it wide open much and kind of putt around you may be allright for the weekend. Might want to carry an extra spark plug.

Love the name man......i have the yoshi offroad and no jetting. I mostly ride woods, and log roads, i havent had any problems other than a small sputter at WOT. It is awfully loud though.
i dont know if i helped any, good luck.

You have a pipe and stock jetting????
if you want a real "Kick in the rear"
remove the air box lid and jet it correctly!

with no jettin changes you may be actually slower than stock.....

You didn't rejet your bike when you put on the Yosh?!?! I would do it as soon as possible.

I ran my Yoshi for a while before I jetted. It still ran strong and sounded good but after I put the jetting on man it really makes a difference.

Hey bassetboy what do you have on your quad to make it a Troy Lee? I really like the style Troy Lee goes for.

It may have ran good but you really are risking having a lean melt down.

If you don’t change the jetting nor do any modifications to the air filter how are you risking a melt down? The pipe is letting more air out I realize that but if your not letting more fuel / air in wouldn’t the fire in the cylinder be the same as stock? Just wondering I’m kinda new at this.

No, It wouldn't be the same as stock You are letting the motor "exhale" much easier by reducing the back pressure.
If there was no valve overlap at all theoretically you would not have to rejet unless you modified the intake ( ie. K&N air filter ).
